A different version - Eine verschiedene Version

Sandie from Feltissimo, who does great felt pieces and also sells the most wonderful English vintage fabrics at Rag Rescue, sent me these photos of the piece she did with my pattern "Through the Window" using wet felting! You can read about this on her blog.

I'm so happy to see that the patterns allow another kind of interpretation, and moreover such a wonderful one!

So chic - Sew chick

Because I'm going to be away on August I already have my pattern done now.

This time it is a doll because I want to explain some 3-D issues and the combination of dry and wet felting for some situations.

This time I took an extra time for working on the photos and I think they turned out very well. The workshop has 32 pages because I wanted to depict very well some details.

I got the idea with the little bunny. I loved that long ear and wished I could have some other doll for grown-ups!

Because I have a collection of big fun pincushions and I want to see it at my studio near to me I thought this would be a good idea.

You will need an embellisher to do this one though, but some ladies are very gifted and can perhaps use the pattern for other techniques!

Baby's Bunny - Häschen

I did a swap with an Argentine lady who sent me the most beautiful feathers against a little doll from me for her grandchild.

The child is 2 years old and I wanted to do something you like to take in the hand and eventually have in your bed. I thought the long ear is great to carry it everywhere.

Ich tauschte mit einer argentinischen Dame Vogelfedern gegen eine kleine Puppe für ihr Enkel.

Das Kind ist 2 Jahre alt und ich dachte, dass ein langes Ohr gut ist, um die Puppe überall mitzunehmen.

New toy - Neue Spielsache

Yesterday I got the new Babylock with 12 Needles. I didn't know if this machine was going to be a difference, but because I use it all the time, I dared order the new one. Now I would never like to miss it! It is wonderful for big surfaces (I have the old one for Details now). I did in no time the whole figure for the throw in my other blog!


Gestern habe ich den neue Babylock mit 12 Nadeln bekommen. Ich hatte mich gefragt, ob er mir wirklich was bringen würde. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich ihn nie mehr vermissen will!
Er ist eine Wucht, um große Flächen im Nu zu punchen. Ich habe die ganze Figur, die ich im anderen Blog habe, in ein Paar Stunden gehabt (mit Überlegungen dazwischen).
