Doodling

Yesterday I had to attend a speech about the environement. It was a nice event and I went with my husband and our nice and motivated American WOOFer, Emilyrose.

There was also an organic food buffet and we ate the most wonderful stuff.

During the speeches I doodled in my sketchbook because I cannot have my hands still for such a long time. I wanted to share the way I doodle because everyone does it in a different way.

Gestern bin ich zu einer Umweltveranstaltung mit Mann und eine total nette amerikanische WOOFerin, die wie momentan im Bauernhof haben.

Es gab ein biologisches Buffet mit tollen Köstlichkeiten.

Wären den Vorträgen habe ich Kritzeleien in meinem Skizzenheft gemacht, da ich die Hände nicht so lange untätig lassen kann. Ich wollte die Kritzeleien zeigen, da jeder das anders macht.

Follow the birds - Folge den Vögeln

These fairies watch the birds flying around their little houses and would like to follow them and fly to the clouds with them...

The piece is about 10" x 12" (25 x 30 cm). It is hand and machine embroidered. The small fence is made out of Austrian folk custom's embelishments.

You can frame it or hang it.

Diese Feen schauen die Vögeln, die rund um ihre kleinen Hütten fliegen und würden sie gerne zu den Wolken folgen...

Das Stück ist ca. 25 x 30 cm) und ist mit Hand und Maschine bestickt. Der kleine Zaun ist aus Trachtendekorationen gemacht.

Man kann das Stück einrahmen oder aufhängen.

3 days abroad - 3 Tage im Ausland

I want to tell you that I'm bringing tomorrow my son Markus to his practical training residence in Italy tomorrow and coming back on Wednesday. I won't be at the computer all this time!

Ich möchte nur mitteilen, dass ich morgen meinen Sohn Markus zu seinem Praktikum in Italien bringe und komme am Mittwoch zurück so daß ich nicht am Computer sein werde!

Little Weather House Dwarves - Kleine Wetterhauswichtel

I love making constructions and these little weather house dwarves live in small houses that look like them. This is fixed by decree in the Fairy Reign after some of them tried to look like fairies stealing their second pair of wings (the ones for special days and celebrations). They can also rotate around if they want to. They can forebode weather very badly though because they like much more to talk about naughty fairies who lose their wands and this kind of things... I think they are really pissed off about the decree...

The piece is about 11" x 10" (27 x 25 cm). It is heavily embroidered by hand and machine and has also some hand appliqué. You can frame it or hang it as is because it has a wire hanger.

Ich liebe Konstruktionen zu machen und diese kleine Wetterhauswichtel wohnen in einem Häuschen, das wie sie aussieht. Es gibt ein Dekret im Zauberwald, das den Wichteln verbietet in einer anderen Art von Behausung zu wohnen seitdem sie versucht haben, das zweite Paar Flügel von den Feen zu stehlen (das Eine für Feste und besondere Anlässe), so dass sie wie sie aussehen. Sie können auch um ihre Achse rotieren. Was sie nicht sehr gut können ist das Wetter vorhersagen, sie mögen viel mehr über dumme Feen, die ihre Zauberstäbe verlieren und solche Sachen zu reden... Ich glaube sie sind wegen dem Dekret angefressen...

Das Stück ist ca. 27 x 25 cm. Es ist dicht bestickt mit Hand und Maschine und hat auch Handapplikationen. Man kann es einrahmen oder von seiner Drahtaufhängung aufhängen.
