Dragonfly Blessings - Libellensegen - La bénédiction des libellules - La bendición de las libelulas

This is my first piece after a time. The little lady is expecting a child and she gets the blessings of her angel. This one sends dragonflies to bring them bertween Heaven and Earth.

Dieses ist mein erstes Stück nach einer Weile. Die kleine Frau erwartet ein Kind und ihr Engel sendet ihr sein Segen mit einem Schwarm Libellen. Sie sind die Boten zwischen Himmel und Erde.

La petite femme est enceinte et reçoit les bénédictions de son ange à travers les libellules. Ellen sont les méssagères entre le Ciel et la Terre.

La mujercita está encinta y recibe las bendiciones de su angel a través de las libelulas, que son los mensajeros entre el Cielo y la Tierra.

I will du a tutorial of this piece, because I will exactly explain and show in pictures how to do the background.

Talking to my angel - Hablando con mi ángel

Every child has an angel to talk with.

Jedes Kind hat einen Engel mit dem er reden kann.

Tous les enfants ont des anges qui parlent avec eux.

Todos los niños tienen ángeles que hablan con ellos.

This piece is about 50 x 50 cm (12"x 12") and is made with the embellisher.

I used indigo shibori dyes over wool and my usual mix of materials.

Dieses Stück ist ca. 50 x 50 cm und mit dem Embellisher gemacht.

Ich habe die Wolle mit Shiborifärben in Indigo behandelt und meine gewöhnliche Materialmischung verwendet.

La pièce a 50 x 50 cm. Elle est faite avec l'embellisher et brodée à la main. J'ai teint la laine avec indigo et utilisé la technique shibori.

La pieza tiene 50 x 50 cm y está hecha con el embellisher (máquina de fieltro en seco).

Teñí la lana con indigo y la técnica shibori. Utilicé mi mezcla de materiales y bordé todo a mano.

Nymphs in my life

This little guy was used to have many nymphs in his life, he picked them like flowers.

Dieser kleiner Mann war daran gewöhnt, viele Nymphen in seinem Leben zu haben. Er pflückte sie wie Blumen.

Ce petit bonhomme avait la coutume de récolter des nymphes comme des fleurs.

Este hombrecito estaba acostumbrado a recoger ninfas como flores.

I used wet felted and embellished felt pieces for the background. I also felted some paper in the wool combining it with te embellisher.

Little nymphs - Kleine Nymphen - Petites nymphes - Pequeñas ninfas

There was a little man who only had nymphs in his head and thought about them day and night...

Es war ein kleiner Mann, der nur Nymphen im Kopf hatte und an sie Tag und Nacht dachte...

Il-y-avait un petit bonhomme qui pensait seulement aux nymphes, il les avait dans sa tete le jour et la nuit...

Había un hombrecito que solamente pensabe en ninfas y las tenía en su cabeza noche y día...

Working with prefelt

At Oldebercoop there was an extraordinary art trail while I was there. About 28 exhibitions of art from locals and guests were there and you could slender from one to the other  -even through the woods finding art between ponds and farns -. I loved the one of Wouter Stips. It was just my thing!

Inspired by his work I thought it would be lovely to use prefelt for the background and I tried my embellisher on this. You have great possibilities of getting defined structure on the surface using it.

In Oldebercoop gab es eine Art Tag der Offenen Tür wo ca. 28 Künstler (vom Ort oder Eingeladene) ihr Werk ausstellten. Sogar in den Wäldern war Kunst in der Natur zu sehen. Besonders gefall mir das Werk von Wouter Stips. Wenn Ihr seine Seite besucht, wißt Ihr warum! Sein Werk inspirierte mich und ich wollte es mit Vorfilz umsetzen, so daß ich die Eigenschaften des Materiales in zusammehang mit dem Embellisher ausprobierte. Man kann sehr skulpturelle Oberflächen damit erzielen.

À Oldebercoop il y avait un chemin d'art avec 28 artistes invités. J'ai adoré l'oeuvre de Wouter Stips. En son honeur j'ai essayé de faire une petite oeuvre en utilisant du pré-feutre. J'aime la structure de la pièce en utilisant l'embellisher et la broderie.

En Oldebercoop había un camino de arte con 28 artistas invitados. Me encantó la obra de Wouter Stips. En su honor hice una pieza utilizando un pre-fieltro y consiguiendo una superficie muy interesante a base de bordado, usando el embellisher (máquina de fieltro en seco).
