Cesky Krumlov

Yesterday we had a day trip to Cesky Krumlov, the most beautiful medieval city in Europe (for me at least!). We wanted to show it to our dear guest, Emilyrose, who is WWoofing at our farm. I already told about it before. Here you see her eating a tiramisú on a terrace near the Vltava (river) together with my husband and me.

We visited lots of art and crafts galleries and I bought two wonderful pieces I must share with you! One is an angel and the other a cheese cover from czeck artists.

Wir haben Unmengen von Galerien und Handwersläden besucht, wo ich diese zwei Keramikstücke ergatterte! Einen Engel und eine Käseglocke von tschechischen Künstlern.

These are from Mariz and you can find them on this site.

  4. Hi! I think woofing is an organic farm stay. I forget what the acronym stands for. Is Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic (perhaps that's a dumb question!)? As always I love your posts!

  6. Oh, Sara, I visited Cesky Krumlov several years ago, and I agree it is one of the **most** beautiful cities. The castle is a dream and the little shops circling up are a treasure! Your WWoofer is so very lucky to have you as a hostess and know the enchanted Europe

  8. Sarah, your life is so perfect it seems. You live on an organic farm! Super. I never heard of this program before but it sounds marvelous. You are so good and kind to invite folks to stay with you like this. The angel and cheese dish are so cute. Have fun, suki

  9. Such fun artwork!!

Czesky Krumlov has left it's beautiful impression on me as well. I made a fabric collage of it's castle in the fog (it's on my "Impressions of Germany" gallery page if you'd like a look).
