Flight lesson

Yesterday I found a bag full of... fibers (I think it's hemp...) in my stash. I collect everything that looks "usable" and then I forget about it. You know how it works...

Well, I began to try to make a basis fabric with it, mixing it with other materials, like wool, paper, tulle and other ones that looked good for blending in this background.

I was very happy with the result and made this picture on it.

The little fairy is waiting to take her first flight lesson. She looks a little bit skeptical about it.
I wonder if fairies take flight lessons in winter...
