Surrogate Altar

This is the piece I did for the 1"x1" squares swap (with all the squares I received).

I finished it today. The photograph is not good enough because you can't see much contrast. I'll try to make some other ones.

The title is about the role of children in some classes of the society.

  1. Hi Sara
I've just discovered your blog via Ruth Rae's site. I love your work, it's beautiful. I also visited your studio on flicker, what a fabulous place to work in. Our next door neighbours live in a straw bale house, it's divine and especially suited to our Australian climate.

  9. Sara, dein Altar gefällt mir unglaublich gut! Er strahlt die intensive Auseinandersetzung gerade aus und verleitet so, sich auch intensiv mit seinem Titel auseinanderzusetzen...und da finde ich so einiges!!
